• Govt. of U.P. has decided to enhance honorarium of Cooks by Rs. 500/-.
• Govt. of U.P. has declared to provide APRON, GLOVES & HEAD COVER to all Cooks working in the State.
• To provide the additional nutrition by providing fresh and seasonal fruits among students weekly.
• To take the meal with dignity the government has distributed THALI & GLASS in all schools covered under MDMS.
• With the help of UNICEF for the training of Cook-cum-helpers regarding Hygiene, Safety and Nutrition a short film ‘POSHANA’ has been developed.
• “MAA Samuh” have also been created in all schools, under which a group of 6 mothers is formed and they regularly visit the schools according to their roaster and super wise the food being cooked and served to the students.
• 1,60,776 Schools are Provided LPG Connections.
